COVID-19 is real and it has affected countries in the world so Nigerians should be patient with the Government while we work hard to contain the spread of the virus, he added. The second phase of the lockdown started on Monday, 18 May 2020 and will be ending on Monday, 1 June 2020.

Relevant bodies and authorities are advised to adopt the guidelines of COVID-19 during the second phase of the lockdown for a possible reopening of major sectors. Compliance from their end will be a major determinant so they are enjoined to adhere strictly to the directives of the NCDC, which include the compulsory use of facemask, regular washing of hands with soap or the use of alcohol-based hand sanitizer and maintaining social and physical distancing.

Corona virus is real, don’t contract it and if you do, don’t spread it. Constantly practice respiratory hygiene which include coughing or sneezing into a tissue and disposing it off immediately or coughing or sneezing into your elbow.
